Making a Purchase Online

Not all of the products on our website are available to buy online as wheelchairs and some specialised seating require a demonstration and assessment prior to order. You can arrange a demonstration easily with us by clicking the Arrange a Demo button on the product pages.

All products available to buy online will have a Buy Now button and an Add to Basket option on the product page too. Making a purchase could not be easier. After you have finished your selection and checked your Basket, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Delivery Schedule

Where possible we will deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2-3 business days. You will be advised if a product you have selected is not in stock and a delivery date will be provided. If we provide an estimate of time for the delivery of the product, that estimate is to be taken as a guide only. If we become aware that there is likely to be a significant delay in delivery we will, as soon as reasonably practicable, notify you of the delay and provide if possible a new anticipated delivery date. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait and receive a full refund.

Tax Charges

The standard rate of VAT applies unless you are entitled to claim VAT exemption.

Credit Card Security

Payments made online are taken securely via SagePay. Gerald Simonds Healthcare Ltd. will never see your bank or credit card details when you pay online

Changing or cancelling an order

In the case of an online order of a standard product, a cooling off period of fourteen calendar days from the date you have received the goods will be provided. If you cancel the order during a Cooling Off Period then any payment by way of deposit, part payment or full settlement taken will be returned to you.

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging.*

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.

How to return goods

You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.

Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.

Refund policy

Products we are unable to refund or exchange

For reasons of hygiene and safety, we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty: *

  • mattress toppers
  • cushions
  • personal grooming products

Delivery charges

Carriage costs for returned items are at the Customer's expense except in the case of errors made by the Company.

We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted. We do not charge for returns. *
