		Vicair Vicair® is dedicated to the development of high performance body support systems based on its unique and patented air cell technology. The Vicair® concept offers an entirely new way of body support - the perfect combination of pressure distribution and optimal positioning. Developed by therapists and clinicians who were well aware of the specialist requirements of wheelchair seating, the Vicair® concept was introduced in 1995 and subsequently recognised as being the most innovative body support system available. Vicair® cushions and mattresses are all based on the unique Vicair® technology and meet all requirements of pressure relief in seating, positioning and mattress systems. The Vicair® Academy range is unique in its ability to offer both optimal pressure distribution and stable positioning. Vicair® technology uses an air medium that adapts to body contours in a very slow manner, thereby creating sufficient stability for the necessary positioning. 	Vicair Academy Vector Wheelchair Cushion Perfect for stable positioning combined with a high level of skin protection. Available in ten standard sizes, the first Vicair cushion with physical height differences in its build. The two lateral compartments and the front middle compartment are 3cm higher compared to the middle rear section, giving extra lateral stability and providing a perfect balance of high-quality pressure distribution and stable positioning. The two side compartments running from front to back provide optimal thigh support. Clinical tests have shown Vector to be useful in the most severe cases of recurring decubitis. As with all Vicair cushions, the Vector is adjustable in cell density, enabling individual solutions to different situations, such as in cases of severe body-asymmetry.
